You are a round peg (probably)
- Your body is different. There is no single "correct" way to play that works for everyone.
- Teachers don't teach positions; they explain principles and guide experiences. Technical instructions are only signposts.
- Real understanding comes from experience. Eventually you will develop your own solutions instead of copying other people.
- The goal isn't to become someone else. It's to understand yourself well enough to become the best version of your own playing.
- The solution isn't to squeeze into a square hole. The key is never to forget that we are all round pegs.
